Why Does the Industry Need this Service?
It would be more accurate to ask why are the insurance companies so excited to get this concept expanded nationally. The simple answer is the need for vastly improved service and customer satisfaction with the motorcycle repair experience that lead to lower costs and new customers for the insurance companies.

The contention is that motorcycle dealers are not in the business of collision repair.  Dealers sell and service their product as their primary profit producers.  Collision repair is a much lower priority for dealers, but is the primary business in which MCCUI and our Certified Centers have an interest.
Motorcycle Dealers are typically not open on Mondays because of Sunday operations.  Also typical is the enthusiast’s accident on the weekend, so a probable delay of two to three days to get the bike into the dealer.  MCCUI’s operations are available 24/7 via toll-free hotline and they are open on Mondays and capable of  transporting damaged powersport vehicles. The average time to acquire an estimate of damages is statistically 7 to 10 days.  MCCUI centers will email an estimate to the owner and the insurance company in 24 hours. The average time for the bike to be out of commission is 52 days when the dealer is responsible for the repair.  MCCUI centers have proven repair methods reducing O.E.M. parts backorder delays.
The above notes are just a few of the advantage of dedicated collision repair facilities, such as the MCCUI centers, for all types of motorcycles and powersport vehicles will be the standard of excellence for the franchisee.
